Terms of Service

Read this before you launch

The text below is a working structure, not finished legal copy. These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from Petnosia.

1. These terms

By browsing this store or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the store.

2. The products we sell

We sell the Petnosia Calm Companion, a pet calming plush. We describe the product as accurately as we can, including its comfort features, charging method, cleaning instructions and suitability for cats and dogs.

The Calm Companion is a comfort product for pets. It is not a veterinary device and it is not a treatment for any medical or behavioural condition. If your pet is distressed or unwell, speak to a vet.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if the item is unavailable, if there was a pricing error, or if the order appears fraudulent — and if we do, we refund you in full.

5. Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery, returns and refunds are covered by our Shipping Policy, Delivery & Returns page and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

6. Safe use of the product

Follow the instructions supplied with the product. Charge it with the USB-C port on the base. The outer cover unzips and is machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle; the internal machine must never be submerged in water and should be wiped with a damp cloth only. Supervise your pet with any new object, and stop using the product if it becomes damaged.

7. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this store — including attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, interfering with how it works, or using it for anything unlawful.

9. Our content

The text, images, branding and design on this store belong to Petnosia or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent.

10. Liability

Needs legal review. A liability clause is the part of these terms most likely to be unenforceable if it is copied from a template. Under UK law you cannot exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory obligations to consumers. We have deliberately not drafted a limitation of liability for you — have a solicitor or Shopify’s generated template supply this section.

11. Governing law

Editable placeholder. Confirm the governing law and jurisdiction for your business. For a UK-registered store this is usually the law of England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland depending on where you are established.

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to your order.
